I enjoyed looking at your work.
Here’s my question- I’m 54, definitely not 20 something or 30something. I have sleeves. I have never worn sleeveless or short sleeve in public. (at home, that’s different)
As I get older, I want to wear some pretty stuff that I see for sale, and frequently it either ‘clashes’ with my tatts or I wonder how it would look for an ‘old’ lady to wear her ‘sleeves’ in public.
I never see any articles on ‘how to dress for tattoos’ . . . . . . Do you know of any older women who deal with this?
The last few years, if I’m shopping and people behave stupidly (I have long or 3/4 sleeve blouse on when I’m out, but folks can sometimes see a piece of a tattoo sticking out of lmy sleeve) I have tried to remember that I’m as good as they are and I dont give a fig what they think.
But . . . . for many years, I worried about what others would think if I showed them in public. Even in Washington DC area, there was lots of hostility (anyways, which didn’t have anything to do with ink) and I ddidn’t need/want the extra attention it brought on . . . .
So, . . . . how do you ‘dress’ for tattoos? Especially if you are 50s, not young & sweet 20s or 30s ??
thanks

Love this tattoo. The contrast and shading is amazing.
